Welcome to the website for the Department of Facilities Operations at Washington State University. Facilities Operations is a service organization of over 400 skilled technicians, craftsmen, operators, custodians, and support staff charged with the responsibility for operating, maintaining, and improving University buildings, grounds, utilities, and related services. We literally turn on the lights and open the doors on this campus daily. While our principle hours of operations are 8 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday, we do maintain a 24-hour presence on campus to respond to emergencies and requirements that arise after normal hours. We take great pride in ensuring that students, staff, and faculty members at Washington State University enjoy a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for living, learning, and working.
