Surplus Stores
WSU departments, State Agencies, Non-Profit organizations, school
districts and municipalities are welcome to shop from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday
- Friday, except for the day before and day of our monthly public sale.
WSU Departments
When you come and shop for your department, please bring a signed
Interdepartmental Requisition and Invoice (IRI) for payment. Delivery is
available for items sold to departments. Please contact Surplus Stores at
335-4530 for delivery fees.
Non-Profit
Organizations
In order to purchase from WSU Surplus Stores, non-profit organizations must be
currently registered with the IRS as a 501c(3) organization. Prior to making
purchases, non-profit organizations must register with Surplus Stores using our
agency registration form and provide a copy
of their 501c(3) status confirmation from the IRS. Purchases can be made by
buyers listed on the agency registration form.
A packing list will be provided at the time of the sale and an invoice will be
sent to the billing address listed on the registration form.
State Agencies,
School Districts and Municipalities
Agencies can register with us using our agency
registration form. This form is used for billing and contact information and
it also gives authorization for members to make purchases on behalf of your
agency. For agency purchases, we accept purchase orders. A packing list will be
provided at the time of the sale and an invoice will be sent to the billing
address listed on the registration form.
General Public
The general public can make purchases from Surplus Stores one day per month on
our monthly public sale day. For more information on our monthly public sales

Featured Items
The Featured Items page contains pictures of items
that may be considered high interest, unique or items that we generally have in
stock.
Computers
The Computers page contains a list of computers
that we currently have in stock along with pricing and specifications. Generally
most computers will be Pentium 4 machines and will come with a 17 inch CRT
monitor, keyboard and mouse. Our computers do not come with an operating system
such as Windows. The hard drives in these computers have be wiped using software
that performs a three pass binary overwrite. All drives are clean and ready for
Windows installation. Occasionally we will have Mac computers available.
Typically the Mac computers will be in the G4 range and vary from iMacs to
Desktops. Surplus Stores occasionally receives laptops, please check the
computer list to see if we have any available.
Want List
If you are in search of a particular item, we maintain a
Want List so that you can let us know what you
are looking for. This service is used for WSU departments, Agencies and
non-profit organizations only.
Sale Information
Email To receive monthly
notifications of our sales, sign up on our
email listserv. This list is private so that you will only receive one
or two messages each month with information on upcoming sales. This is the
best way to stay informed and up to date about items that have been sold to
agencies and will not be available for public sale.
Shopping at Surplus Stores
WSU Surplus Stores receives and sells all items no longer needed by WSU. Typical
items include computers, audiovisual equipment, lab equipment, furniture,
vehicles and more. Items that are not sold to agencies are sold at monthly
public sales.
